Introduction (PGCert – First Post!)
About me:
I am Herman Ho! And here is my mascot NaniBear.
It calls NaniBear because:
- I love Winnie the Pooh, and I love Bear
- Nani in Japanese means what? and the Kanji letter of Nani is 何, which is also my surname in Chinese! Ho = 何

What do I teach :O?
I am a Lecturer in Games Design(BA) and BA Immersive Media and Mixed Reality in London College of Communication, UAL.
I teach across all 3 years in both courses. (Mainly focusing on BA Games Year 2 and BA IMMR Year 2 and 3)
I focus on the aspect of Level Design, Traversal elements and Spatial Design within a Game + Digital space, which is leveraged from my background in Architecture.
What do I hope to get from doing PgCert?
From reading about the course and learning it from colleagues who completed and are doing PgCert, it seems the course would help me advance my academic skillset in teaching, designing sessions and potentially structuring curriculum.
I already have a topic in mind that I would like to research, and I hope it will align with the PgCert program. At the same time, learning more about Inclusive Teaching could greatly increase the student learning experience during my sessions.
